Toyota has supported the Australian country music industry from the streets of Tamworth for the past 20 years. Tamworth Regional Council recognises this significant contribution to country music and also the significant contribution Toyota makes to rural and regional communities as a whole through its charity partnerships and we are proud to see these charities benefit from Toyota’s generosity and the generosity of Festival attendees.

Toyota Golden Guitars

The Country Music Awards of Australia recognise, celebrate and honour outstanding achievement in Australian Country Music. The Awards presentation is accompanied by a star-studded, gala concert featuring outstanding Australian country music and showcases some of our newest rising stars.

Toyota Star Maker

Australia's oldest and most successful music talent search, each year Toyota Star Maker crowns a bright new star on the country music scene. The prestigious talent quest kick-started the careers of many country music greats, such as Lee Kernaghan and The McClymonts. The winner for 2017 was Rachel Fahim.

Toyota Busking Competition

The busking activity on Peel Street is what many fans come to Tamworth to experience. Managed by Tamworth Regional Council, over 380 registered buskers taking to the streets annually over the 10 day festival. A dedicated concert, “Best of the Buskers” Free concert is held in Toyota Park on the last weekend of the festival.

Toyota 4x4 Off-road Track & Cavalcade

The famed Country Music Cavalcade is one of the highlights of the Tamworth Country Music Festival. It is staged on the last Saturday of the Festival and draws in excess of 30,000 spectators each year. The 4x4 track is adjacent to Toyota Park and is centrally located and easily accessible. Visitors can experience 4WD vehicle capabilities first-hand.
