
Toyota will upgrade its multimedia system on select models to provide Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility from 1 October. (All images indicative only).
Toyota Australia Vice President Sales and Marketing, Sean Hanley said the availability of Apple CarPlay®1 and Android Auto™2 will offer customers the ability to access a number of apps on their mobile devices in a safe and convenient way.

Existing owners of the all-new HiAce and RAV4 models will be able to upgrade their multimedia systems with Apple CarPlay®1 and Android Auto™2 free of charge from 1 November.
Owners of latest generation Camry, Corolla hatch, and recently upgraded Prius will also be able to upgrade their multimedia system with the new technology at their local Toyota dealership for $199 from 1 November as well.
Toyota's upgraded multimedia system with Apple CarPlay®1 and Android Auto™2 will also be standard on the all-new Corolla sedan and upgraded C-HR that are due on sale in Australia before the end of the year.
Multiple Toyota models will have Apple CarPlay®1 and Android Auto™2 fitted as standard as the models are updated. See below for an applicability table:
