Conditions of Entry

Entry Restrictions

Open only to Australian residents who live in Victoria, and who sign up to receive marketing communications from Toyota, its authorised Toyota dealers and its authorised repair centres at the VCE and Careers Expo 2026 in Melbourne.

You are ineligible to enter the competition if you are a director, officer, member of management or employee (or immediate family member of a director, officer, member of management or employee) of:

Entrants under 18 must obtain approval from their parent/guardian before entering.

Competition Period

10:00 am (AEST) on Thursday 7th May to 6:00 pm (AEST) on Thursday 21th May 2026.

Entry Method

During the Competition Period, entrants must fully complete and submit a response to the survey emailed to them by Toyota on Thursday 21 May 2026, including by providing their full name, email address, and phone number and any additional information as required by Toyota.

Entry Limits

Entrants may enter only once.

Draw Details

10:00 am (AEST) on Friday 22 May 2026 in Melbourne, Australia.

Winner Determination

The first valid entry randomly drawn from all valid entries received during the Competition Period will win the prize.

Prize Details

There is one prize to be won.

The prize is one VISA gift card valued at $500 (inc GST).

Toyota will arrange, at its own expense delivery of the prize to the winner.

Prize Pool

The overall total prize pool is valued at $500 (inc GST).

Winner Notification

The winner will be notified by phone, SMS and email within two days of the draw.

If there is no prize winner or the prize winner cannot be found Toyota will publish that information on its website.

Prize Claim Date and Time

The prize must be claimed within one week of the draw date.

Unclaimed Prize Draw Details

If the prize is not claimed within one week of the draw date, an unclaimed prize draw will be held at 10:00 am (AEST) on Friday 29 May 2026 at the same location as the original draw.

Unclaimed Prize Draw Winner Notification

Any winner in the Unclaimed Prize Draw will be notified by phone, SMS and email within two days of the Unclaimed Prize Draw.




1. Information regarding prizes and how to enter forms part of these conditions. By entering, entrants accept these conditions.

2. The competition will be conducted during the Competition Period.

3. Entries must be received during the Competition Period. Entries are deemed to be received at the time they are received by Toyota’s database and not at the time of submission by the entrant. Toyota has no control over communications networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. Toyota is not liable for any consequences of user error including (without limitation) costs incurred. Entrants who enter using multiple email addresses or aliases may be disqualified. In the event of a dispute regarding a prize awarded to an SMS entrant, the prize will be awarded to the owner of the relevant mobile phone number. Automatically generated entries may be disqualified.

4. Toyota is not liable for late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, incorrectly submitted, delayed or illegible entries, correspondence or claims for prizes due to error, omission, tampering, theft, destruction or otherwise.

5. The draw will be conducted at the time, on the date and at the location as stated in the Draw Details.

6. The prize is as stated in the Prize Details.

7. If the winner of a prize is aged under the age of 18 years at the closing date of the competition, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or guardian on the winner’s behalf. As a condition of accepting or participating in any prize on behalf of a winner, the winner’s parent or guardian accepts these conditions.

8. Any card or voucher awarded is valid until the expiry date specified on the card or voucher or by the prize provider, and are subject to any terms and conditions imposed by the prize provider. Toyota is not liable for any card or voucher that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way once awarded.

9. The winner/s will be notified in accordance with the Winner Notification section of these conditions.

10. If any prize has not been accepted or claimed in accordance with the Prize Claim Date and Time or if, after making all reasonable attempts, Toyota cannot contact the drawn winner (or the drawn winner does not contact Toyota) by the Prize Claim Date and Time, the relevant winner’s entry will be deemed invalid and Toyota will conduct such further draws in accordance with the Unclaimed Prize Draw Details as are necessary to distribute the prize, subject to any requirements of the relevant gaming authorities.

11. Toyota and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury, illness or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law). Nothing in these conditions restricts, excludes or modifies or purports to restrict, exclude or modify any statutory consumer rights under any applicable law including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

12. Without limiting the previous paragraph, Toyota and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any damage, loss or delay in transit to the prize. The prize will be delivered in Australia only.

13. Toyota may communicate or advertise this competition using Instagram, Facebook or any other social media platforms (Social Media Platforms). However, the competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with the Social Media Platforms. Entrants are providing their information to Toyota and not to the Social Media Platforms. Each entrant completely releases all Social Media Platforms from any and all liability.

14. All entries will be the property of Toyota. The information entrants provide will be used by Toyota for the purpose of conducting this competition. Toyota may collect entrants’ personal information (including through its contractors or agents) or disclose entrants’ personal information to its authorised Toyota dealers, authorised repair centres, related companies, contractors and agents to assist in conducting this competition, storing data or communicating with entrants. If the entrant has marked the “opt-in” box on the entry form, the entrant consents to the storage of their personal information on Toyota’s database and Toyota, its authorised dealers and its authorised repair centres may use this information to keep entrants up-to-date about career opportunities and invite entrants to career events, including contacting the entrant via electronic messaging.
