Telematics began appearing in the early 2000s. Today, platforms like Toyota HaloC17 use advanced vehicle telematics to provide real-time insights into location, usage and driver safety.
Yes. Telematics devices enable cellular vehicle tracking so you can monitor vehicle movement. This is a key feature of our fleet management software.
Geofencing is setting up a virtual boundary around a specific location. You can receive alerts when a vehicle enters or leaves that area, helping improve security and compliance.
Cellular fleet tracking uses Telstra’s 4G Mobile Network to pinpoint the exact location of each vehicle in your fleet. Toyota HaloC17 uses this for live tracking, trip history and route optimisation.
Use fleet management software like Toyota HaloC17 to monitor vehicle usage, optimise routes and maintain driver safety. The data you capture will help you make the best decisions to reduce costs and improve operational performance.
Your telematics device collects location, speed, fuel level, engine diagnostics and driver monitoring system data and shares it securely to your dashboard. This data is private and encrypted.
With Toyota HaloC17, you can monitor driver safety using a built-in driver monitoring system that alerts you to harsh braking, speeding and risky behaviours, helping reduce incidents and improve driver performance.
