Professional learning workshops for West Melbourne teachers

Questacon STEM Futures is a series of STEM professional learning workshops that will enable teachers in West Melbourne to discuss ideas and learn interesting new ways to better engage their students in STEM. These workshops are tailored for primary and high school teachers and school leaders (principals and executive staff) to equip them with the skills and confidence to deliver engaging STEM activities in their classrooms.

These workshops will encourage teachers to explore how pedagogical change can help build students’ capabilities and develop ways to assess the growth of content knowledge, skills and general capabilities in the context of learning. STEM Futures will contribute to developing STEM capability in our teachers to deliver engaging, hands-on, minds-on STEM in their classrooms.
