This program targets both students and teachers through the onsite and school-based activities. Students and teachers will explore Design Thinking and Systems Thinking through Robotics. They will talk about the ethics of humans vs robots and create/code a program for a future recycling system that is fully automated. They will use augmented reality (AR) to consolidate ideas/concepts and present final designs at a STEM workshop day. Learning will be delivered by a mixture of on site and virtual conferencing for teacher professional learning with group presentations at conclusion if allowed.

Quantum’s program will begin by targeting over 2000 students/teachers from the west to be involved in this pilot. Planning and design of all components Term 3/4 2021, delivery Term 1/2 2022. The unit of work will then become a permanent offering of Quantum to all Vic students.
