Power of Engineering will produce 5 one-day signature Power of Engineering events in West Melbourne in 2019 for year 9 and 10 high school students and their teachers. Each event will provide practical and creative experiences for over 100 students to learn about the opportunities a career in Engineering can offer.

The events aim to change students' perceptions of engineering through hands-on activities and site tours, and particularly focuses on female, regional, and Indigenous students to increase their participation in the industry. Events include a variety of engaging hands on workshops, industry experiences or site tours and presentations from inspiring and passionate engineers. At each event impact will be measured and understood through survey feedback.
