The Good for Programs are dedicated to driving the growth and continuity of grassroots cricket and Australian football clubs with several initiatives, which provide much needed funding for individual clubs and teams.
This milestone underscores Toyota’s deep commitment to supporting local sporting communities across the nation through the various Good for Program initiatives, the most successful being the Good for Raffle, which runs across both football and cricket seasons.
The Raffle enables clubs to register and sell raffle tickets to their local community offering $250,000 worth of prizes, funded by Toyota Australia, with 100 per cent of profits from the raffle ticket sales going directly to the club.
Toyota Australia Chief Marketing Officer, Vin Naidoo said reaching the $20 million milestone is a proud reflection of Toyota Australia’s ongoing dedication to supporting local clubs across both sports.
“The Good for Programs demonstrates Toyota’s strong focus on supporting Australia’s beloved local sporting communities in a tangible way, while providing a platform for communities to rally around and support their local club,”
“With the continued support and generosity from sports fans for their local footy and cricket clubs across the nation, the Good for Programs have been an important means of funding that impact grassroots sports in such a positive way.
"Many clubs have noted they rely on funding and volunteers to survive and that the Good for Programs play a crucial role in helping clubs grow, foster a stronger sense of community, and ensure continued success of local footy and cricket for years to come.”
