Every trip you take helps build an aggregate average Drive Pulse score out of 100. Your score is affected by fast acceleration, harsh cornering and harsh braking
Excessive acceleration means extra wear on your tyres as well as using your petrol, diesel or battery power inefficiently.
Harsh cornering creates unnecessary wear on your tyres and is also unsafe for you and other road users.
Harsh braking suggests that you were either driving too fast, not concentrating on the road or you were affected by another road user.
