Matched workplace giving enables our employees to donate directly to causes of most importance to them. Every dollar an employee donates to an eligible charity via the program qualifies for matching by Toyota, dollar for dollar, to a maximum of $1,000 per employee per year, and an annual matched giving budget cap.
From 2013 to 2023, more than $400K has been donated to charities supported by our employees.

Every year, Toyota provides employees with an opportunity to win a $1,000 grant for a non-profit community group they actively support. Since the program began in 2013 to 2023, we have awarded almost $400,000 to groups chosen by our employees, making a huge difference to these organisations.
The grants have helped sports clubs buy equipment and uniforms, kindergartens build outdoor playgrounds and even the staging of a swimming carnival for children living with a disability.
Grant recipients have included Hoppers Crossing Junior Netball Association, Sydenham Basketball Club, Country Fire Authority & Brigades, and Backpacks 4 SA Kids.
