As well as offering masses of space inside for families and all the gear that goes with them, Kluger has great towing capacity, making it the perfect car for hitching up things that are just too large to fit in the car. So it is equipped with a towing harness as standard across the range.
Kluger's 3.5 Litre V6 Dual VVT-i ( Dual Variable Valve Timing with intelligence ) engine has plenty of power - at 6200 rpm, it pumps out 201kW and generates 337Nm of torque at 4700 rpm.
It has a 2000kg braked towing capacity [G6] (700kg unbraked). So It's more than capable of towing anything you need to take with you on family adventure holidays- trailers, small boats or caravans, or to haul jet skis or trail bikes for action-packed days out.
While Kluger's muscle delivers great towing capacity, there's also a Reversing Camera[B4] , which is an invaluable aid for seamless solo hitching. Also, with most trailers, there is no need for extension mirrors as Kluger's large side mirrors give you an excellent view of your tow and the traffic behind you.
Smoothly Does it
Kluger's powerful engine delivers responsive low RPM torque on call. So the car copes effortlessly with heavy loads, ensuring smooth, responsive acceleration, helping to make the overtaking of slow traffic easier and safer.
Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i)
Toyota engine system that provides continual variations of the intake valve timing to provide optimal valve timing for the full range of driving conditions. It improves driveability, performance and fuel efficiency, and reduces emissions. Dual VVT-i provides even greater improvement, by independently varying exhaust valve timing as well as intake timing. Reverse camera[B4] displays the area at the rear of the vehicle on a screen, when the vehicle is in reverse. Image shown for illustration purposes only.
[B4] Reversing Camera, Park Assist, Sonar Parking and Blind Spot Monitor are designed as driver assist devices only and should not be used as substitutes for skilled driving and/or safe parking practices. The area into which the vehicle is to be driven must be visually monitored by the driver.
