Multi-Information
Display

An LCD Multi-Information Display (MID) is located below the speedometer. As well as the odometer and trip meter, the MID displays cruising range as well as tracks fuel consumption data such as total average fuel economy and instantaneous fuel economy. There's also an 'ECO' indicator to help you use fuel as economically as possible.

Smart Entry
& Smart Start

Camry Hybrid and Atara S, SL and SX feature
Smart Entry and Smart Start. Instead of a
conventional key the Smart Entry system
knows when you want to get into your
vehicle. Smart Entry authorises the locks
to open when you put your hand on the
door handle, even if the fob is in your
pocket or in a bag. As long as the keys are
in the car with you, just press the brake
pedal and Camry will spring into life with
a push of the Start button.

Seven SRS
Airbags

Camry comes with a comprehensive
airbag system that offers an
impressive seven SRS airbags,
including a driver's knee airbag.

ABS, VSC
and TRC

Camry is equipped with an Anti-skid
Braking System (ABS), Vehicle
Stability Control (VSC) and Traction
Control (TRC) to give the driver
more control and enhance traction
during acceleration and cornering.

Reverse
Camera ^[B4]

Camry H, HL and Atara models feature a
reverse camera ^[B4], which displays an image
of what's behind you on the audio display
screen (optional in Camry Altise). It's a
great safety aid helping you to avoid
small hazards below your eye line and
scratches to your car.
Camry Atara SL and HL reverse camera
also features path prediction reference
lines.

Blind Spot
Monitor^[B4]

Camry Atara SL and Camry
HL are fitted with a Blind
Spot Monitor ^[B4] (BSM)
which uses radars to
monitor blind spots.
You can't always see what's
coming but Atara SL and
Camry HL, have eyes where
you don't.

Automatic
High Beam^[B6]

Camry Atara SL and Camry Hybrid
Luxury feature Automatic High
Beam^[B6] technology, which is designed
to automatically switch the headlights
from high beam to low beam when it
detects the headlights of approaching
vehicles or the tail lights of vehicles in
front. As soon as there are no more
lights from oncoming traffic (or tail
lights ahead), Automatic High Beam^[B6]
switches automatically back to high beam again.
