The Toyota Certified Pre-Owned Warranty applies to eligible Toyota Certified Pre-Owned vehicles in accordance with the terms and conditions below and in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law statutory consumer guarantees.
The Toyota Certified Pre-Owned Warranty commences:
During the Toyota Certified Pre-Owned Warranty period, the Toyota Certified Pre-Owned Warranty will replace any existing warranties on all or part of your eligible Toyota Certified Pre-Owned vehicle.
At the end of the Toyota Certified Pre-Owned Warranty period your eligible Toyota Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle may still be eligible for additional warranty coverage on some vehicle components as set out in the Warranty and Service book3.
The Toyota Certified Pre-Owned Warranty will expire 12 months from commencement, or 160,000 kms total odometer reading, or 10 years after your vehicle was delivered to its original purchaser (whichever occurs first).
Therefore, if your eligible Toyota Certified Pre-Owned vehicle is more than 9 years old on the date that of delivery, you will have less than 12 months remaining on your Toyota Certified Pre-Owned Warranty.
If a defect covered by the Toyota Certified Pre-Owned Warranty causes your vehicle to be undriveable, towing to the nearest Toyota Dealer and a loan car is covered.
We will always honour your rights under the Australian Consumer Law which may in some circumstances exceed your rights under the Toyota Certified Pre-Owned Warranty.
The Toyota Certified Pre-Owned Warranty does not apply for vehicles used for commercial purposes, such as taxis, hire vehicles and vehicles transporting people or goods for payment (including on a part-time or casual basis, and rideshare). Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law statutory consumer guarantees may still apply, and may exceed your rights under the applicable Toyota Warranty.
Certain other terms and conditions apply to the Toyota Certified Pre-Owned Warranty. Please refer to the Warranty and Service book for details.
