RoboKids

Robokids will be involved in two STEM projects:

Footscray Learning Precinct known as (FLP). The FLP involves 2 primary & 1 secondary schools.
The focus is to:

  • deliver a robotics program from Foundation to year 7 students across 3 schools,
  • facilitate the development of community values and culture among the schools and their staff through a shared STEAM curriculum. The project will also focus on breaking down boundaries and barriers in these schools, ultimately to establish a STEAM cohesive community that works together, shares education outcomes. Data will be collected and evaluated by:
    • PwC surveys for Teachers and students
    • Social Network Analysis -SNA Education

  • Nominated Regional Area
  • Underrepresented STEM community delivered to Campbelltown Directorate (NSW region school area).


About Robokids

  • Robokids provides STEM workshops for teachers and students in schools and children's service centres. They run school incursions, teacher professional development, after school and holiday programs.
  • Robokids vision is an Australia where every young person leaves school with the innovation and technological skills that they need to thrive in their ever changing, automated world that lies ahead of them. Their robotics workshops, designed by teachers for schools & education services engage students in 21st century learning with the latest technology, helping them become the innovative and creative problem solvers that the world needs. They have taught robotics to over 120 000 Australian students in schools and children’s services.
