This project addresses the need to help under-resourced schools in disadvantaged areas provide quality STEM learning.
Thirteen primary schools from Brimbank, Maribyrnong and Wyndham will receive two robotics kits and one STEM related excursion to Scienceworks.
Each robotics kit has up to five different robotics and coding products with a lifespan of five years.
Teachers are supported with professional development training so they can use the kits to deliver an engaging robotics program for their students.
Ardoch provides tailored educational support programs to children and young people in disadvantaged communities. It aims to increase engagement in education, build aspirations, enhance learning outcomes and increase the confidence of children and young people living in disadvantaged communities.
