To give you an idea of how we’re getting involved with securing a better future for Aussies, young and old, here’s some of the initiatives we have been taking to help our communities thrive.

Good for Footy Raffle

We have been spearheading the Good for Footy program for over 5 years for more than 500 local clubs from every state and territory. We know Aussie Rules have a huge impact on young peoples lives, from all backgrounds and we’re so proud of the success stories we’ve seen emerge from this program.

Kicking goals: Recently we broke the $10 million benchmark in total funds raised for grassroots footy clubs.

Rural Aid

Toyota recognises the struggles our rural communities face everyday. Rural Aid is one of Australia’s largest rural charities helping to overcome mental health issues in regional communities and the impact of challenges such as drought and bushfires. Alongside fundraising and special events, we support Rural Aid’s efforts by supplying their mental health counsellors with our vehicles so they can help more people, no matter where they are in Australia.

Giving our farmers a hand: We’re also proud to be a key partner of Seven’s Farmer Wants a Wife, which helps raise awareness of the fantastic services Rural Aid provides. Farmer Wants a Wife now streaming on 7plus.

Alex Makes Meals

We might not be well known for our culinary skills, but don’t be fooled! Together with Alex Makes Meals, the Toyota catering team (who operate out of our HQ in Melbourne) have been able to cook and deliver over 20,000 meals to Victorians in need. From those sleeping rough to our healthcare heroes working on the frontline of this pandemic.

Food is love: We’re chuffed that our catering team can contribute to the great work Alex Makes Meals started in bringing communities closer one meal at a time!

6 FEB, 2020

To keep your Toyota running at its optimum, it’s a good idea to ensure your cars essential fluids are at recommended levels.
