Global environmental impact management

Over the last 12 months, we’ve invested a great deal into supporting Toyota Global with its five-year environmental action plan (FY2016-2020). In line with the Toyota Environmental Challenge 2050, this sets out a pathway to moving beyond zero environmental impact and achieving a net positive impact moving forward.

Improving our communities

Toyota Community Trust

In our first year, we supported five beneficiaries to deliver education programs to young Australians in Melbourne’s west.

Toyota Community Foundation

This year, we provided $1.8m through direct contributions and employee giving to support our local communities.

Sponsorship and partnerships

Toyota Australia sponsors and partners with a range of organisations through our National Marketing Division. This is informed by the Toyota guiding principles to ‘contribute to economic and social development through corporate activities in their respective communities’ and ‘pursue growth through harmony with the global community via innovative management’.
