Belle's Olympic Journey

Belle Brockhoff became the first Australian woman to win a Snowboard Cross World Cup in the 2015/16 season in Spain. She followed that historic achievement with an even more successful season. However, an injury setback would create one of her biggest challenges on the road to Olympic glory.

During the 2016/17 season Belle won three World Cup medals including two gold and one silver. It was her best-performing season to date, but it was also bittersweet. Towards the end of that season, a crash on the racetrack left her with a ruptured ACL.

After a reconstruction and a period of intense rehab, Belle got back out on the snow and made her return to competition at the 2017 World Cup in France. Despite feeling fast and strong, on a day when there was poor visibility on the track, she crashed and ruptured her ACL once again. Although she could compete in the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Games, she knew injury had held her back.

Following her second knee reconstruction, an impressive comeback season included medals in five out of six World Cups. Most recently, a World Championship gold medal in 2021 shows that Belle has finally reached a place where she can truly back herself in a race and trust herself as an athlete once again.

Belle's remarkable ability to adapt to various situations and overcome adversity shone through when she competed at Beijing 2022, her third Olympic Winter Games.

BELLE’S LANDCRUISER PRADO

Home is where the snow is

“The snow clearance is handy in the mountains, especially with snow on the road or in gnarlier conditions, with chains. It's spacious as heck – you can toss all your boards, boots and gear in there. You're not just cruising up to the mountain, you're doing it in style and comfort. It's your own personal snowboarding sanctuary on wheels.”

Kaleidoscopic terrain

“I love cruising through the snowy peaks of the Australian Alps, finding hidden trails for off-road action before kicking back with hot cocoa and breathtaking views. I never tire of driving along the iconic Great Ocean Road coastline, stopping at gorgeous beaches en route. And I’ve always wanted to go to the Red Centre. I'm fascinated by the vastness of the outback, exploring it in a Prado would be next level!”
