National Tree Day

Toyota's commitment

A young child with shoulder-length orange hair and freckles, smiling cheekily, wears a blue National Tree Day jumper, holding up dirt-covered hands, surrounded by freshly planted trees, on a warm sunny afternoon in the Australian bush.

Our commitment to environmental improvement is clear in our ambitious goal to achieving zero carbon emissions across our operations by 2050.

With over 20 years of support for National Tree Day, Toyota has made an invaluable contribution to the planting of 26 million native trees shrubs and grasses by millions of children and adults across Australia.

Schools Tree Day

Traditionally held on the last Friday of July, Schools Tree Day is a day for educating and encouraging younger generations to take care of our planet. It’s a great opportunity for kids to get their green fingers on and learn more about nature and the environment.

Helping create a clearer environment

Australia's largest tree-planting event

Since its inception in 1996, National Tree Day has grown to be Australia’s largest community tree-planting and nature care event.
A chance to roll up your sleeves
It’s a day that allows Australians to come together, roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty for the environment. Planting trees and shrubs is a fun, simple and effective way to help enrich our earth and protect nature’s wildlife.
Bring community together
Toyota will continue to inspire, educate and recruit more people from local communities to maintain our beautiful environment for future generations.
