The National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting System (NGERS)

Toyota Australia reports via the Energy Efficiency Opportunities (EEO) Program and the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting System (NGERS).

NGERS is a reporting framework used by Australian businesses to formally report their greenhouse emissions, greenhouse gas projects, and energy use and production. The reporting is done electronically through a government database. The first annual reporting period began on 1 July 2008.

The NGER Act will provide the emissions data that will underpin any future carbon pricing scheme.
