Toyota manufactures the Camry and Aurion family sedans at its Altona plant for distribution across Australia and for export to more than 20 countries worldwide.

Toyota has developed extensive systems for monitoring the environmental performance of its manufacturing operations. Objectives and targets for environmental improvement are specified in the manufacturing Environmental Action Plan.

Environmental performance data for Toyota's manufacturing operations is independently audited and publicly reported at this site and in Toyota's 2006 Environment and Community Report.

During 2006, Toyota developed and published its second community-based Environment Improvement Plan (EIP) in partnership with the Community Liaison Committee. The plan sets targets for environmental improvement in Toyota's manufacturing operations at Altona.
