Reverse camera - Toyota Prius v

Reverse Camera - An Additional Set of Eyes to Help Avoid Obstacles

To complement rear visibility using mirrors and windows, Prius v features a Reverse Camera[B4]  , mounted just above the rear license plate. Simply putting Prius v into reverse activates the reverse camera, which captures real-time video of the area directly behind you and displays it
on the 6.1" touchscreen (7" in
Prius v i-Tech®) in the dash.

The reverse camera and back monitor (equipped with guide lines in Prius v i-Tech®) helps you to line Prius v up and make it easier to guide the car into parking spaces.

They also help to make reversing safer by allowing you to see and avoid objects below your eye line, such as pets, fence posts, toys, and low walls.
