Stylish Exterior
Prius v could easily be mistaken for a passenger sedan with its sleek, smooth lines. The low roof-line and roof spoiler along with aerodynamic corners, sporty alloy wheels and v-shaped headlamps all combine to give Prius v an elegant, lean profile.
Spacious Interior
Prius v has a spacious interior with plenty of room for 7 people, with three rows of seating and six different seating configurations - depending on how many people or luggage you have on board. So whether you're transporting extra friends or family, prams, golf clubs or suitcases, Prius v is incredibly accommodating. Simply make a few adjustments to the seats and shift into different configurations plus there are over 20 handy storage pockets and compartments for all the things you need on the road.
Versatility
Prius v is a comfortable, spacious 7-seater, which can be quickly transformed by folding most of the seats flat individually to create a number of combinations of seating and space for luggage, sports gear and any other kind of cargo.
Performance
Powered by Toyota's Hybrid Synergy DriveŽ technology, which seamlessly integrates a powerful petrol engine with an advanced electric motor, Prius v offers dynamic acceleration from a standing start and powerful mid-range acceleration.
Although it offers passenger sedan-like performance, Prius v produces very low CO2 emissions[G1] and significantly better fuel economy than other petrol engine 7-seaters.
Like all Toyotas, Prius v is designed to be as safe as possible and is equipped with an array of modern safety features and technologies.
Advanced braking systems help you stay in control in slippery conditions. And in Prius v i-Tech®, the intelligent Pre-Collision Safety System detects potential collisions before they happen - alerting the driver and automatically employing Brake Assist or even applying the brakes if necessary to help reduce the effects for an accident.
A Reverse Camera[B4] (with guide lines in Prius v i-Tech®) provides you with a clear view of what's behind and 7 SRS airbags including a driver's knee airbag help to protect everyone in the car.
In addition, the use of high tensile steel to help prevent buckling, plus crumple zones and a bonnet designed to reduce pedestrian impact all help to make Prius v one of the safer 7-seaters on the road.
Audio and Technology
Prius v features a 6.1" audio touch screen display, which provides clear, sharp graphics that are easy to see and read. The touch screen menu gives you fingertip control over the 6-speaker audio system as well as Bluetooth™[B5] enabled calls, iPod®[G8] cover art (on some iPods), images from the Reverse Camera[B4] , fuel consumption and animated energy flow graphics.
The Prius v i-Tech® offers an 8-speaker JBL audio system, that fills the entire cabin with incredibly rich sound - and is operated by a larger 7" touch screen audio display unit.
Satellite Navigation
Finding your way around is now completely stress-free, thanks to the Satellite Navigation[N1] in the Prius v i-Tech®. With both a clear visual display and verbal commands to guide you, it's simple to get wherever you want to go.
Intelligent Park Assist
No more worrying over tight parking spaces. Intelligent Park Assist[B7] does all the hard work for you - sensing the available space, and steering its way in.
The simple way to make and receive calls, Bluetooth technology is perfect for busy people who need to talk hands-free. All you need is a compatible Bluetooth™[B5] enabled phone or device
Cruise Control
Cruise Control comes as standard across the Prius v range making long trips less taxing. You simply set the desired speed and there's no more need to keep your foot on the accelerator. A dab on the brakes puts you back in full control of vehicle speed again.
Dynamic Radar Cruise Control
Prius v i-Tech® comes with Dynamic Radar Cruise Control[B9] to help take the stress out of long drives. The system uses sensors to automatically detect your distance from the vehicle in front and maintain a set distance.
Ownership
Prius v like all Toyotas is built to exceptionally high standards, and reliability and durability are in its DNA. However, irregular servicing can lead to reduced fuel efficiency, increased air pollution, and potentially damage the resale value of your vehicle. That is why Prius v comes with Toyota Service Advantage. That means you'll pay the same low capped price of $130 from one logbook service to the next for the first 3 years or 60,000km (whichever comes first)[T1], up to the first 6 services.
So you'll enjoy the peace of mind of knowing in advance what your maximum servicing costs will be. Better still, your Toyota will be serviced by Toyota-trained Technicians who know your vehicle inside out and use Toyota Genuine Parts.
Being a hybrid, Prius v offers excellent fuel economy for a 7-seater, achieving 4.4L/100km (combined)[G1] so running costs can be surprisingly low.
Brake Assist (BA)
A system designed to assist the driver in emergency braking, where the driver cannot apply the high pedal force required to obtain the shortest possible braking distance. It supplements the braking power applied if the driver has not pushed hard enough on the brake pedal in an emergency braking situation - working in conjunction with ABS.
Reverse Camera[B4]

Reverse camera[B4] displays the area at the rear of the vehicle on a screen, when the vehicle is in reverse. Image shown for illustration purposes only.
[B4] Reversing Camera, Park Assist, Sonar Parking and Blind Spot Monitor are designed as driver assist devices only and should not be used as substitutes for skilled driving and/or safe parking practices. The area into which the vehicle is to be driven must be visually monitored by the driver.
Supplemental Restraint System (SRS)

Satellite Navigation (Sat Nav)[N1]

Sat Nav or Satellite Navigation[N1] is a system which displays the location of the vehicle on a "map" screen, and can be programmed to provide information such as directions to a destination both visually, and with spoken messages. Image shown for illustration purposes only.
[N1] Current navigation mapping database encompasses major capital and primary national road networks as well as offering some coverage in regional areas.
Intelligent Park Assist (IPA)[B7]
Intelligent Parking Assist (IPA)[B7] is a system to automatically parallel or reverse park. All the driver has to do is monitor the car and manage the brake.
[B7] Intelligent Park Assist is designed as a driver assist device only and should not be used as a substitute for skilled driving and safe parking practices. The driver should watch the area into which the vehicle is to be reversed, react appropriately and ensure compliance with all road rules. Intelligent Park Assist requires brake control.

Cruise Control

Cruise control is a system that automatically assists to maintain the vehicle at a set, pre-determined speed. Mostly used for driving on open roads, it is easily disengaged by touching the brake pedal. Image shown for illustration purposes only.
Dynamic Radar Cruise Control[B9]

Dynamic Radar Cruise Control[B9] is an advanced cruise control system that uses radar to detect when the vehicle is closing in on a slower vehicle in front. It then slows the car to maintain a safe gap and only accelerates back to the pre-set speed when the vehicle in front either speeds up or moves out of the way. Image shown for illustration purposes only.
[B9] Dynamic Radar Cruise Control is a driver assist technology and should not be used in place of safe driving practices. Driver should continue to monitor road ahead.
