Prius c was also built on the understanding that the road from A to B isn’t always predictable. As such, it has a low centre of gravity for improved handling, a sophisticated suspension system tuned for urban driving conditions, Hill-start Assist technology, and an impressively tight turning circle, making it ideal for navigating complex inner-city streets.

The shaped steering wheel gives the driver excellent hands-on feel and is shaped to enable a low, sporty driving position while at the same time making it easy to get into and out of the car.

And the clever Touch Tracer - allows you to take fingertip control of audio, air conditioning temperature and Multi-Information Display data without taking your hands off the steering wheel. As your finger hovers over each of the soft buttons on the wheel, the relevant feature automatically illuminates on the Combination Meter screen in the centre of the instrument panel.

Electric Power Steering (EPS)

Prius c features Electric Power Steering (EPS) which is more economical than hydraulic power steering as the system only uses energy when power assistance is needed and eliminates the need for a hydraulic pump.

Tight Turning Radius

The suspension features MacPherson struts at the front and clever space-saving torsion beam innovations at the rear. Both front and rear suspensions are optimally tuned to deliver a smooth and responsive steering feel along with a comfortable ride. And with a tight 4.8m turning radius Prius c is comfortable in the tightest spot.

Whether navigating through tight inner city streets or cruising on the open road, it’s a pleasure to drive.
