Prado has a flexible 7-seat layout in all models except the 5-seater GX (where the 7-seat layout is available as an option).

The versatile 7-seat layout offers great flexibility allowing you to configure seating in a wide variety of ways so you can easily carry the most awkward shaped loads and yet still have plenty of room for plenty of passengers.

The second row offers a 40:20:40 split and the back row offers a fold-flat 50:50 split. The slide function on the second-row seat means there's ample of legroom for even the tallest passengers, and to make getting in and out as easy as possible, the passenger side has a walk-in function.

The seats aren't just functional. They are also very stylish and exceptionally comfortable. Kakadu and VX models feature leather accented seats that are also heated in the front and second row.

5-seater layout (GX models only)

As with the 7-seater layout, the second row offers a handy 40:20:40 split. And to enable you to create even more luggage space, this row can also be folded flat.

Smart Car design for 4WD performance and comfort

Exterior Design

As well as being practical, Prado's unique body shape combined with an aggressive front grille and headlamp design helps to emphasise the car's sheer muscularity. The car's powerful presence is complemented by large alloy wheels designed to set off Prado's sturdy good looks. At a glance you can tell, this is a car that can deal with the toughest challenges and in real style.

Prado's assertive body shape has been aerodynamically sculpted with features that help channel airflow as efficiently as possible, reducing turbulence and noise, and improving overall performance.

GX and GXL models feature halogen based headlamps as well as manual headlights levelling. While VX and Kakadu models feature LED Headlamps with accompanying LED DRLs and feature automatic headlamp leveling.

All models come as 7-seaters except the 5-seater GX where a 7-seater layout is optional. Meanwhile in VX and Kakadu models you'll also enjoy the luxury of leather accented seats, not to mention heated seats in the front and second row.

Cup Holders

Cup holders that have been designed to prevent spills are easily accessible in the front and rear.
