Electro Multi-Vision Screen

An Electro Multi-Vision Screen (standard on the VX++, Kakadu and ZR models) gives you control over many of the car's features. These include the DVD-based Satellite Navigation system#, the surround-sound audio system, the hands-free Bluetooth™## enabled phone capability.

Widen your view

Multi-Terrain Monitor^^^ is standard in ZR and the Kakadu models (standard from October 2011 production), the full colour display screen also has feeds from four cameras around the car showing six different viewing angles. And off-road, they help you see exactly what you're dealing with down at surface level.

To switch camera views on the Electro Multi-Vision screen you just push a button on the steering wheel.

In VX, ZR and Kakadu, steering angle is displayed on the Multi-Information Display in the combination meter while predicted tyre paths are displayed on the EMV screen when equipped.

Car Technology

We have spent more than 50 years researching, testing and building 4WDs.

By constantly improving our technologies and introducing smart innovations at every opportunity, we have created a generation of awesomely powerful off-roaders that can deal with the most challenging terrain.

The Toyota Prado is one of the toughest, most advanced 4WDs you could drive. Yet in spite of all the power and grunt off road, it is also an incredibly comfortable and practical road car.

Bursting at the seams with smart technology the Prado offers you the best of both motoring worlds.

Hill-start Assist Control (HAC)

Hill-start Assist (automatic models only) is a smart car technology, that help prevents roll back on steep or slippery inclines. If you take your foot off the pedal, it will hold your Prado in position for up to five seconds until you're ready to move on.
