Toyota Prado Features Car Safety Anti Skid Brake

Anti-skid Braking with Intelligence

The Toyota Prado comes with Anti-skid Braking System (ABS) as standard which helps you come to a standstill in the safest way possible.

The Anti-skid Braking system works with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), to control braking force to each individual wheel, depending on conditions and the load you're carrying. This helps prevent skidding and helps ensure that the car stops in the shortest distance possible.

If you do get into an emergency braking situation, the Prado will sense it by how quickly you apply the brakes and automatically give you even more braking force.

Stay on track in any terrain

The Prado's Multi-Terrain Select++ (MTS) is the latest evolution of our Active-Traction Control (A-TRC) system. It allows you to select a specific traction control for the conditions, giving you maximum control over the most difficult terrains and in the most treacherous conditions.

MTS works hand-in-hand with the Prado's Multi-terrain Anti-Lock Braking System, to minimise wheel lock-up. It gives you the option of selecting mud and sand, loose rock, rock or mogul right from the steering wheel.

So whatever the conditions, the Prado is ready for them.
