Just a minor scratch on your bumper can cost hundreds of dollars to fix, so even if Toyota ParkAssist~ saves you from just one dent or scuff, it could pay for itself. But chances are it will reward you time and time again, and save you the inconvenience of having your car off the road for repairs, or possibly affecting your no-claim bonus.

A similar set of two or four ParkAssist~ ultrasonic rear parking sensors mounted across the rear bumper can help drivers to be more aware of obstacles out of their range of vision when reversing. By listening to the beeping, you'll know if you are getting too close to the object behind you.

NOTE: Ultrasonic parking sensors are designed as a driver assist device ONLY and should not be used as a substitute for skilled driving and safe parking practices. The area into which the vehicle is to be reversed must be visually monitored by the driver while parking.

ParkAssist~ uses two colour-matched ultrasonic sensors on the front bumper to help you judge how close you are to the car or object in front of you. A concealed beeper heard from within the cabin starts to alert you to how much room you have left, beeping faster the closer you get and then emitting a constant tone if you have gone as close as you should.
