Trailer sway control
Trailer sway control reduces the effect of factors such as wind and bumpy roads on trailer sway when towing a trailer.
The system detects trailer sway and when detected, the system slows the vehicle speed to reduce trailer sway and the driver is notified via the dashboard controls. When trailer sway control is automatically activated the slip indicator in the instrument cluster blinks and the stop lamps are illuminated to alert rear observers of the vehicle's imminent deceleration.
Electronically Controlled Transmission (ECT)
Electronic control of the automatic transmissions has created a raft of breakthroughs in driving comfort and vehicle efficiency. ECT helps to ensures optimal gear change timing according to throttle position with vehicle load and judges the most suitable time to initiate torque converter lock-up for increased fuel economy, and networks with the engine's computer.
