Features Overview
We designed the LandCruiser 200 to be Earth's greatest 4WD - prestigious, adventurous, and trust-worthy. It has all the grunt and muscle you'd expect from the legendary king of Australia's off-roads, yet it's also an incredibly comfortable car on the tarmac. We have packed it with state-of-the-art features and innovations to improve and increase performance on and off the road. Every detail has been carefully considered, from its rigid, high-strength, impact-absorbant structure and its cleverly flexible seating configurations, to convenient storage spaces. The Sahara and VX models offer add-ons such as black or shell beige leather accented interior colour, a Multi-function Information Display (MID), as well as body side protection with chrome highlights (available on Sahara model only) and chrome accented radiator grilles (available on Sahara and VX models only).
We equipped the LandCruiser 200 with a range of game-changing technologies and innovations to give the vehicle exceptional off-road capabilities while still being great to drive on the road. It comes complete with advanced integrated Satellite Navigation[N1] (GXL, VX and Sahara models only), keyless entry (not available on GX model) , engine immobiliser, Hill-start Assist Control (HAC) and Cruise Control alongside an impressive audio system with a CD player, up to 9 speakers, DAB radio functionality[B3], USB port[G5] and iPod®[G8] and Bluetooth™[B5] connectivity.
The LandCruiser 200 is purpose built to deliver full-blooded, 4WD substance combined with elegant on road style. To enable the vehicle to go almost anywhere and tow practically anything, we have engineered both the petrol 4.6L V8 (Not available on GX) 1UR-FE and the 4.5L Turbo-diesel power units to deliver great kilowatts and massive torque. Most LandCruiser 200 models are also fitted with our Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (KDSS)[U2] to reduce roll even when it's rocky. (Not available on GX model. Optional on GXL T/D model.)
Along with all the sheer, unadulterated power of the LandCruiser 200, we have included a range of advanced safety features to make driving on and off road as safe as possible. These include Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) to give you more control on corners, Active Traction Control (A-TRC) to distribute drive force to each wheel individually, Multi-Terrain Anti-Skid Braking that automatically detects road conditions and Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) to manage braking at each wheel, Brake Assist (BA) to supplement emergency braking, Multi-Terrain Select (VX and Sahara models), and SRS airbags (8 airbags on GX and GXL and 10 on VX and Sahara models) including curtain airbags for side impact protection.
We back the LandCruiser 200's legendary reliability with a solid warranty (3 years or 100,000 km, whichever comes first[T4]). LandCruiser 200 comes with Toyota Service Advantage's low cost capped price servicing. We also make the vehicle easy to buy with a range of finance packages from Toyota Finance[T7]. LandCruiser 200 is remarkably comfortable to drive, and as we have packed it with game-changing technology it really is a special 4WD to own whether you intend to hit the dirt or the highway.
Satellite Navigation (Sat Nav)[N1]

Sat Nav or Satellite Navigation[N1] is a system which displays the location of the vehicle on a "map" screen, and can be programmed to provide information such as directions to a destination both visually, and with spoken messages. Image shown for illustration purposes only.
[N1] Current navigation mapping database encompasses major capital and primary national road networks as well as offering some coverage in regional areas.
Hill-start Assist Control (HAC)

Automatic function that prevents the vehicle rolling downhill when starting off. It is particularly helpful on low-traction surfaces and when driving off road. Image shown for illustration purposes only.
Hill-start Assist Control (HAC)

Cruise Control

Cruise control is a system that automatically assists to maintain the vehicle at a set, pre-determined speed. Mostly used for driving on open roads, it is easily disengaged by touching the brake pedal. Image shown for illustration purposes only.
Bluetooth™

Bluetooth™ is a short-range wireless communication system ideally suited to hands-free use of mobile telephones in cars[B5].
[B5] The Bluetooth™ word mark is owned by The Bluetooth SIG, Inc. Not all devices will be compatible and functionality will vary depending on the device.
Vehicle Stability Control (VSC)
System that ensures control in cornering situations the way ABS does under braking and TRC does under acceleration. The VSC system utilises electronic sensors in conjunction with the ABS and TRC hardware to help control any potential understeer or oversteer situations. Understeer is when the vehicle loses front-wheel traction and wants to push forward nose first. Oversteer is when the rear wheels lose traction and the tail begins to slide.
Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD)
Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) is a system that maximises braking efficiency. It senses the weight distribution of the vehicle and redistributes the braking to each wheel so that the wheels with most weight on them receive the most brakeforce.
Brake Assist (BA)
A system designed to assist the driver in emergency braking, where the driver cannot apply the high pedal force required to obtain the shortest possible braking distance. It supplements the braking power applied if the driver has not pushed hard enough on the brake pedal in an emergency braking situation - working in conjunction with ABS.
Supplemental Restraint System (SRS)
