Toyota Kluger Features Brake Assist (BA)

Brake Assist (BA)

Too many accidents happen because drivers are unable stop their vehicles quickly enough or because wheel lock-up causes the vehicle to skid out of control.

With Brake Assist  , it's easier to stop Kluger in a hurry - helping avoid an accident in emergency braking situations.

Stop in a hurry

Many drivers instinctively use too little pressure on the brake for fear of locking the wheels and skidding. Modern cars with Anti-skid Braking Systems helps prevent this skidding so the best response in an emergency braking situation is to apply maximum braking pressure and let the car's technology do its work. Brake Assist  does that for you.

When Kluger detects sudden emergency braking, Brake Assist automatically activates. Measuring the speed and force with which the brake pedal has been pressed.

Brake Assist then applies additional brake pressure to generate a greater braking force. This additional pressure can help you avoid hitting the object.

Brake Assist (BA)

A system designed to assist the driver in emergency braking, where the driver cannot apply the high pedal force required to obtain the shortest possible braking distance. It supplements the braking power applied if the driver has not pushed hard enough on the brake pedal in an emergency braking situation - working in conjunction with ABS.
