With longer wheelbases than ever before, the HiAce Long Wheelbase (LWB) and Super Long Wheelbase (SLWB) models have incredible interior space.
Loads of cargo space
The squared off overall body design not only looks stylish and professional, it optimises the interior room. The radiator and engine is positioned to optimise interior room, while the small bonnet allows easy checking of fluids. The smart body design of the LWB means a large 6.0 cubic meters of cargo capacity whilst the SLWB van, with its wide body and high roof, it has a full 9.8 cubic metres of cargo volume, making it the biggest HiAce van ever.
Commuter Bus seats 14
Offering contoured seating for 14, the Toyota HiAce Commuter Bus is virtually a luxury coach! With individual bucket seats and two seater bench seats throughout, all forward facing, and all with three point 'lap sash' seatbelts, it delivers exceptional driver and passenger comfort. Front passenger and driver seats also feature slide adjustments as well as offering ample head, leg, shoulder, and hip room. What's more, the fitth row of seats folds up, giving you extra luggage space at the rear.
All Hiace models come standard with an MP3 compatible CD player with AM/FM radio, Voice Recognition for audio and phone, USB audio input for certified iPod products[G8], USB input[G5] as well as Bluetooth™[B5] capabilities[I2]. The two speaker system in the van models or four in the bus are accompanied by full length headlining which helps to reduce ambient noise. This means those long days on the road can still be entertaining.
Sedan-like comfort & drive
With the HiAce, you won't just drive for a living - you'll live to drive! Every HiAce model features air conditioning with clean air filter (with an additional rear cooler on Commuter Bus), front power windows, remote central locking, in-dash CD player and clock, contemporary dash and instrument panel, modern trims and fabrics, gated gear shift (auto), double wishbone type front suspension and rack and pinion power steering. Plus, Anti-skid Braking System (ABS) with Brake Assist (BA) which supplements your braking effort during sudden stops is a standard across the range[I3].
MP3[G5] is a digital sound format often used for music. MP3[G5] capable players in vehicles may play a huge variety of material from a number of media, including CDs and USB sticks.

Voice Control Technology
Bluetooth™ is a short-range wireless communication system ideally suited to hands-free use of mobile telephones in cars[B5].
[B5] The Bluetooth™ word mark is owned by The Bluetooth SIG, Inc. Not all devices will be compatible and functionality will vary depending on the device.
ABS (Anti-Skid Braking System)
Modern electronics and a hydraulic actuator compares and adjusts wheel speeds when braking to prevent wheel lock-up and hence a potential skid.
Brake Assist (BA)
A system designed to assist the driver in emergency braking, where the driver cannot apply the high pedal force required to obtain the shortest possible braking distance. It supplements the braking power applied if the driver has not pushed hard enough on the brake pedal in an emergency braking situation - working in conjunction with ABS.
