The detail in Camry's instrument cluster is refined and premium. The design incorporates a split-form construction to reduce visual mass, and a centre section that seems to float above the main panel.

In Camry H and Camry HL, the Optitron instrument cluster is designed to present information more clearly than traditional instrument illumination in order to reduce eye fatigue. It uses Light Emitting Diodes (LED) on every figure and indicator needle, which provides outstandingly clear readability whatever the ambient light conditions. This means less strain on your eyes, less time looking down at the instrument panel and more time with your eyes on the road.

An LCD Multi-Information Display (MID) is located below the speedometer. As well as the odometer and trip meter, the MID enables instantaneous readings for the outside air temperature and cruising range as well as tracking fuel consumption data such as total average fuel economy and instantaneous fuel economy. There's also an 'ECO' indicator to help you use fuel as economically as possible.

Hybrids - Camry H and Camry HL can be switched to 'ECO' Mode, which automatically manages accelerator inputs and moderates the air conditioning system to minimise fuel use. At the touch of a button, drivers can also switch to 'EV' Drive Mode for short distances to avoid emissions in an underground car park for instance, or to reduce noise in residential areas late at night.

Steering Wheel Controls

Standard across the range, steering wheel controls allow the driver to control the audio system, changing volume and CD tracks, without taking their hands off the wheel.

On Camry Atara models, paddle shift technology with controls located at your fingertips on the steering wheel, allows for fast, responsive gear changing while maintaining your concentration on the road ahead.

And to keep you comfortable, the tilt and reach steering wheel is fully adjustable so you can position it exactly where it feels most comfortable.
