Driver and front passenger can independently adjust the system to select their ideal temperature, via a simple central control. Warm one side, cool on the other, it's entirely up to the individual in Camry, providing ultimate comfort.
A split-form instrument panel in Camry, plus intricate details such as silver highlighting, create a relaxed, yet high-tech environment. An Optitron instrument cluster in the Camry Hybrid models presents information more clearly to reduce eye strain.
In petrol Camrys the three-dial backlit instrument cluster, integrated LCD screen and illuminated needles are designed to improve visibility, which means less time with your eyes off the road.
Steering wheel audio controls throughout the range and on Atara models (excluding Atara R) paddle shifters put everything at your fingertips while a 'ECO' indicator helps you manage your fuel consumption, encouraging efficient driving.
Camry Hybrid features a three-dial chrome accented instrument cluster behind the steering wheel, which makes all the information you need, easily accessible at a glance.
Designed to make long distance driving more comfortable, Camry's Cruise Control also helps keep you within the legal speed limit. Simply set the speed you require and Camry takes over throttle control for you, helping you to maintain a steady fixed speed. Tap the brake pedal and Cruise Control is immediately disengaged.
Smart Start , Smart Entry and Central Locking
Camry H, Camry HL and Camry Atara grades feature Smart Start with Smart Entry (excluding Atara R) so no more fumbling for keys. As long as you have the keys with you, in a pocket or a bag, the car senses them, prepares to unlock itself as you approach and then starts up at the touch of a button.
Camry models have power windows front and rear with the driver's window featuring auto up and down functionality with jam protection.
Camry Atara SL and Camry HL have luxurious, leather accented seats, while Camry Atara SX has unique leather accented sports seats for a sportier feel and an engaging ride.
So many adjustment possibilities means Camry H, Camry HL and Camry Atara grades (excluding Atara R) fit the driver like a glove. An 8-way driver's electric adjustable seat with a 'two memory' function on the Atara SL and the Camry HL means you can always find the perfect position for the most comfortable driving.
Rear seats feature a 60/40 split-fold design, allowing you to carry awkward objects more easily. Folding the rear seats down also gives you access to the boot cavity from inside the cabin.
Long journeys are a breeze in Camry's spacious interior, and creature comforts are taken care of too. There are plenty of cup holders and bottle holders in convenient spots to hold your drinks firmly and safely.
You can never have enough storage space and that's why Camry has lots of useful, different sized compartments within easy reach for keys, sunglasses, maps, newspapers and everything else you and your passengers like to keep handy in the car.
Camry has sporty aerodynamic shape, but that doesn't mean it hasn't got plenty of room in the boot for all the things you need to carry.
In Camry HL and Camry H, the Hybrid battery has been moved forward by 100mm and the air duct has been re-positioned to create a more generous boot space.
