Toyota Camry - Seatbelts

Seatbelts

Camry features driver and front passenger whiplash-injury lessening seats - the front seats are engineered to yield in a controlled fashion in certain rear end collisions, helping to reduce the risk of injuries.

Camry features height adjustable, three-point Emergency Locking Retractor (ELR)  seatbelts for the driver and front passenger and three-point Emergency Locking Retractor (ELR) and Automatic Locking Retractor (ALR) seatbelts have been adopted for all rear seats.

There's also a seat belt warning indicator for all occupants helping to ensure that everyone buckles up.

Emergency Locking Retractor (ELR)

Emergency Locking Retractor (ELR) seatbelts are sensitive to the motion of the vehicle and automatically lock on sudden stop or collision, helping to keep driver and passengers safe.
