There are many advanced safety features and technologies included across the entire new Camry range.

Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and Traction Control (TRC) provide safer cornering and acceleration. Advanced Braking with intelligence (AB-i) helps you brake safely in an emergency. And a Safe T Cell incorporating a high tensile steel structure and impact absorbing crumple zones, plus seven SRS Airbags (including a driver's knee airbag), helps protect everyone in the car in the event of an accident.

To help prevent accidents from happening in the first place, new Camry features a reversing camera^^^ (optional on Camry Altise). Atara SL and Camry HL also feature a Blind Spot monitor^^^ to help avoid lane changing accidents and Automatic High Beam*** technology that automatically switches to low beam to avoid blinding other drivers when the system senses another vehicle's lights ahead.
