In restyling new Camry, the design team set out to create an all-new exterior which would appeal to the head, the heart and the eye - a dynamic fusion of rational, useful technology with comfort and style. The result is truly advanced styling - a highly sophisticated, aerodynamic vehicle that oozes prestige and good looks.
Everything from the air-intake type upper grille with sleek headlamps and the front fog lamps integrated into the front of the car (available on Camry Atara and Camry HL models), to the trapezoidal rear bumper and the alloy wheels, emphasises the strong, athletic stance of the car.
Vortex Generating Aero Fins
Formula 1 inspired airflow technology gives new Camry a much-improved aerodynamic profile. New under body covers have been designed to work with the airflow beneath all-new Camry, to improve straight-line driving and vehicle stability. Combined with stabilising aero fins on the exterior mirror mounts and tail lamps, these create a powerful vortex generation effect along the length of the car, creating down-force and helping new Camry to hug the road.
In Camry Atara models, the advanced styling goes further. The body shape is even sportier and lower slung, with a dual exhaust at rear and 17" alloys with five offset double spokes.
