Satellite Navigation
The multimedia package in Camry Atara SL and Camry HL includes a sophisticated Satellite Navigation[N1] system to help make journeys on unfamiliar roads less stressful and ensure that you find your way with a minimum of fuss.
Clear, easy to follow graphics are displayed on the 7" touch screen audio unit and you can also receive helpful spoken directions.
The Satellite Navigation[N1] (or GPS) system is complemented by SUNA™ Traffic Channel[G7] Traffic Avoidance System. If any kind of hold up should occur ahead - heavy traffic, lane closures or an accident for instance - the Satellite Navigation[N1] system can alert you to this and suggest alternative routes.
Satellite Navigation (Sat Nav)[N1]
Sat Nav or Satellite Navigation[N1] is a system which displays the location of the vehicle on a "map" screen, and can be programmed to provide information such as directions to a destination both visually, and with spoken messages. Image shown for illustration purposes only.
[N1] Current navigation mapping database encompasses major capital and primary national road networks as well as offering some coverage in regional areas.
SUNA™Traffic Channel[G7]
SUNA™ Traffic Channel[G7] broadcasts real-time traffic information directly to compatible navigation systems, keeping you informed of adverse traffic conditions ahead and suggesting alternative routes to avoid congestion. Image shown for illustration purposes only.
[G7] SUNA™ GPS Traffic Updates are only available in metropolitan Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney; it operates from information provided by Intelematics Australia and may not cover all road incidents and congestion.
