Digital Radio (DAB+)
The advanced multimedia system in Camry Atara SL and Camry HL models offers features such as USB connectivity[G5] and an AUX input jack for some MP3 players[G5] , plus Bluetooth™[B5] audio streaming and hands-free mobile calls, and also features a Digital Radio (DAB+)[B3] receiver.
Digital radio (DAB+)[B3] offers you the stations you already know plus a range of other digital stations including Chill, Comedy, Dance and Country.
Digital radio (DAB+)[B3] is broadcast in a similar way to Digital TV (in VHF Band III). It goes out at higher frequency than AM or FM enabling the system to deliver higher quality sound than conventional radio (DAB+)[B3] and also uses a robust modulation, designed to deliver the best possible reception on the move.
Digital radio (DAB+)[B3] is simple to operate - you tune to the station name not its frequency, so it's easy to find favourite stations.
Another brilliant feature of the Digital Radio (DAB+) system[B3] is that you have complete control to play, pause and rewind to hear your favourite song.
With all this choice plus better sound quality and everything being played through the ten speaker surround sound system, every journey you make will sound perfect.
MP3[G5] is a digital sound format often used for music. MP3[G5] capable players in vehicles may play a huge variety of material from a number of media, including CDs and USB sticks.
