Toyota Hybrid Camry features low emission

Low emission

Hybrid Camry combines powerful performance with significantly lower fuel economy and reduced harmful emissions. This is thanks to the inherent genius of Hybrid Synergy Drive®, Toyota's world leading hybrid technology. In fact, the car's 2.4 litre engine produces just 142g per kilometre of carbon dioxide# which is far less than any petrol-based car in its clas and close to what you would expect from a small car with a much smaller engine.

As well as low emissions of CO2, Hybrid Camry also produces much less smog-forming nitrogen oxide (NOx) than diesel-based equivalent vehicles. An important distinction because NOx is a smog-forming particulate emission which is harmful to human health.

It's an achievement that's been recognised by the Australian Government's Green Vehicle Guide awarding Hybrid Camry five stars. In doing so, it becomes the only family-sized and the first Australian built car to achieve this distinction.
