Hybrid Camry's dual AC climate control system caters for personal differences in cabin temperature preference, the dual AC is especially useful for keeping both driver and front passenger in comfort. Plus, it's also been designed with a clever Eco mode to reduce the load on the engine and improve fuel economy.
Travel in climate-controlled comfort
Keep temperatures inside the cabin to personal preference with Hybrid Camry's dual-zone climate control air conditioning. With dual AC, you can set your own ideal temperature while your front passenger sets their own. This means you can both travel in the comfort of independent temperature settings.
Fuel-saving ECO mode
Hybrid Camry's innovative Eco mode reduces the load on the engine when the air conditioning is in use. Quite simply this means that the air conditioning minimises it's impact on your fuel efficiency. It'll keep the whole family in total comfort without requiring an additional stop at the petrol station.
During heating or cooling, the Eco mode increases the efficiency of climate control. The cabin temperature is constantly monitored to limit unneccessary use, in doing so the number of times the petrol engine is restarted is limited.
Electrically powered air conditioning
Conventional air conditioning systems run off the engine and are a major fuel drain. But Hybrid Camry's dual zone system is powered electronically. This minimises any impact on fuel efficiency and importantly, means that the air-conditioning continues to operate even if the petrol engine has switched off.
