Dual VVT-i Engine
Aurion's 200kW, 3.5 litre V6 engine is highly efficient. It features Dual Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (Dual VVT-i ) which automatically makes instant adjustments to the timing of intake and exhaust valves depending on whether you're accelerating, slowing down or cruising. This optimises performance and results in a highly responsive, dynamic driving experience plus excellent fuel economy[G1].
Dual Exhaust
New Aurion is fitted with a dual exhaust system across the range. This not only gives the car a sporty and dynamic look, it results in improvements in power and torque. In addition, Sportivo models are fitted with a sports diffuser, which adds to the dynamic styling of the car.
Transmission
New Aurion employs a six speed, electronically controlled sequential shift transmission for smooth gear changes, and to improve fuel economy and emissions.
Steering and suspension
Electric Power Steering (EPS), suspension tuned specifically for Australian road conditions, and an advanced aerodynamic package, combine to deliver a dynamic ride and responsive handling.
Paddle Shift Technology (Sportivo models)
Sportivo SX6 and ZR6 models include quick response paddle shift technology with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters that let you switch from relaxed driving to a sportier driving experience at the touch of a finger.
Improved Aerodynamics
Aero stabilizing fins have been incorporated in the side mirror bases and the under body of the vehicle, to improve aerodynamic performance and stability.
Low Noise and Vibration (NVH)
Thanks to an acoustic windscreen and extensive sound insulation new Aurion delivers a remarkably quiet, conversation friendly driving environment.
Towing Capacity
Towing[G6] small caravans and boats in style is no problem when you have 200kW of power and 336Nm of torque up your sleeve.
