Aurion has a fuel tank capacity of 70 litres, can run on 91 RON unleaded petrol and is compatible with E10 fuel.

With the final gear ratio optimised for efficiency, enabling high speed driving at low engine speeds, Electric Power Steering (EPS)  , which uses less power than always-on hydraulic systems, and an advanced aerodynamic package, Aurion delivers excellent fuel economy and low emissions [G1]  .

While its 3.5 litre Dual VVT-i  V6 engine delivers an impressive 200kW, Aurion only uses 9.3L/100km [G1]  of fuel and with low CO2 emissions of 215g/km [G1]  .

Dual VVT-i Engine

Aurion's low-friction V6 engine is highly efficient and incorporates Toyota's Dual VVT-i  engine technology. This senses your driving requirements and continuously adjusts the timing of inlet and exhaust valves as you drive. So whether you're accelerating, cruising, slowing down or winding your way along a country lane, it ensures that the valves are working to optimum efficiency. Which helps ensure you achieve the perfect balance of performance and economy.

Electric Power-assisted Steering (EPS)

System in which an electric motor attached to the steering rack or shaft provides power assistance - in place of the conventional hydraulic assist system. The electric motor only consumes energy when power assistance is required (i.e. when the steering wheel is turned), thereby saving energy and fuel. The more straight-road driving, the greater the fuel saving. EPS eliminates the need for a hydraulic pump, hydraulic pipes, pulleys and belt, and power-steering fluid in the steering system. It therefore offers reduced service costs and environmental benefits, as well as saving fuel.
